I used my favourite yellow to be my background colour, which represents warmth, shine and brightness. The reason why I would like to choose this colour is not just only make me feel very warm and powerful, but also because the star is the same colour, which represents much hope, and is related to a star night, which means that there are infinite possibilities in this word. Also, I used some butterflies to decorate my background, which make the background not that much dull.
The reflection:
During the progress of drawing, I met some obstacles, like the hair and the skin colour colours are not that suitable, or even the lights or shadows of the character are not very uniform. After many daubs, the colours of the painting have improved.
After finishing this artwork, I understood that I need more practice and observe the directions of the light and shadow to improve my skills.
